Good Grades are not the Only Thing They Bring Home From School

In September, viral infections sweep through classrooms spreading from child to child and are often transported home to other family members. Viral respiratory tract infections are frequently associated with asthma-like symptoms and depending on the severity, patients may be prescribed Metered Dose Inhalers (MDIs) for treatment. Mastering MDI inhaler technique can be very difficult, especially for patients who have never used an MDI before.

Prescribe an AeroChamber MAX® Valved Holding Chamber (VHC)
AeroChamber MAX® Valved Holding Chamber (VHC) for your patients with new prescriptions for MDIs.  All patients demonstrate better inhaler technique when using an MDI and Valved Holding Chamber.1

The AeroChamber MAX® VHC is perfect for inexperienced MDI users because caregivers and patients are assured of proper inhaler technique. By watching the movement of the proprietary Flow-Vu Inspiratory Flow Indicator, caregivers can count patient breaths, confirm a facemask seal and coordinate actuation of the MDI with inhalation. In addition, the see-through StatBan anti-static polymer chamber keeps particles suspended for up to 10 seconds, allowing multiple breaths to be taken to inhale the medication.

AeroChamber MAX® VHC helps deliver aerosol medication where it’s needed – deep in the lungs!

The AeroChamber MAX® VHC is covered by Provincial*, Federal and Private Insurance Plans.
