UC Davis study links BPA to Asthma
A recent study by researchers at UC Davis has linked the potential development of asthma to BPA exposure. The study was conducted on the fetuses of pregnant rhesus macaque monkeys and showed that exposure to bisphenol A (BPA) led to changes in the fetuses lungs that increased the potential for developing asthma. Previous studies conducted on mice also showed a link between BPA exposure to asthma. However, this particular study is important because the fetal development of the macaque monkey mimics that of humans.

There continues to be new studies regarding the potential health risks associated with BPA. As a result, public perception of BPA containing products continues to erode. The medications taken with our products are critical to the health and well-being of those patients that need them.
