AeroChamber mini* Aerosol Chamber
The AeroChamber mini* Aerosol Chamber is a unique device designed to deliver pressurized Metered Dose Inhaler medication to patients requiring assisted ventilation within a hospital environment. When used in a ventilator circuit, it can be easily connected to the endotracheal tube in front of the wye or HME, but must be taken out of the circuit when the aerosol treatment has taken place.
Use in conjunction with:
Novel chamber
The AeroChamber mini* Chamber is comprised of an anti-static, dual chamber design. The device was designed to maintain various levels of PEEP when being used with pressurized ventilation and manual resuscitation systems. The proprietary exhalation channel features a one-way valve that helps reduce the mixing of aerosol with exhaled air.
The small volume 110 ml chamber minimizes dead space resulting in improved aerosol delivery efficiency. The AeroChamber mini* Chamber is an ideal size for use in hospital environments with space constraints - such as neonatal and paediatric units.
Versatile and easy to use
The highly adaptable chamber can be used with all pressurized Metered Dose Inhalers and is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the hand. The proprietary AeroDock* Canister Port enables actuation of canisters with dose counters. . The canister port will also enable actuation of certain dose counters, such as the GlaxoSmithKline† dose counter and our AeroCount* Dose Indicator.

AeroVent*

- Canister Adapter
Accepts all commonly used pMDI canisters - Collapsible Design
Designed to be left in the inspiratory limb of a ventilator circuit - can be collapsed when not in use
- Transparent Chamber
Chamber size of 140 ml is clear and allows observation of aerosol in the device - Standard Connectors
Device is easy to connect to the circuit and can be used without interruption of continuous ventilation
AeroVent* Collapsible Holding Chamber
Fits all commonly used metered dose inhaler canisters
The AeroVent* Collapsible Holding Chamber (CHC) fits virtually every type of ventilator circuit and accepts all commonly used pressurized Metered Dose Inhaler canisters. This allows for flexibility in delivery of aerosol medications, and helps reduce the risk of nosocomial infection by maintaining a closed circuit.Maintain Ventilator Closed Circuit IntegrityThe AeroVent* CHC is designed to be left in the inspiratory limb of a ventilator circuit, and can be collapsed when not in use without interruption of continuous mechanical ventilation. The device is easy to connect and provides efficient aerosol drug delivery.
Tested Aerosol AvailabilityAerosol is released directly into the inspiratory limb through the AeroVent* CHC, and has been tested and proven to effectively deliver a dose of medication to the patient through the breathing circuit.1 The standardized chamber size of 140 ml is clear and allows observation of aerosol in the device.

Study Summary
Where to buyNote: Although the AeroVent* CHC can accommodate certain MDIs with integrated dose counter, an integrated dose counter will generally not actuate while in use with the AeroVent* CHC and so it will not record the doses dispensed with the AeroVent* CHC. The caregiver must keep track of the number of times the MDI is actuated to monitor the number of doses dispensed from the MDI.
