Keeping a Second Set of Asthma Medication at School

Keeping a Set of Asthma Medication at School

It’s the beginning of a new school year and getting everyone ready in the mornings can be a bit chaotic! It’s easy for things to be forgotten at home – sometimes that even includes much needed asthma medication. By the time you realize it has been left behind, it might be too late. That’s why the Canadian Lung Association recommends having two sets of asthma supplies for your child: one for home, and one for school. By keeping duplicates of your child’s asthma medication and valved holding chamber at school you can be assured that they will always have access to it when they need it most (and it’s one less thing you have to worry about on those chaotic mornings).

Are you covered?

In Canada, many Provincial and Federal public plans offer coverage for AeroChamber* Brand of VHC. If you are not covered by a public plan, most workplace health insurance plans will help cover the cost. To learn more please visit our Reminder Program webpage.
