AEROCHAMBER2GO* Chamber
For use with your metered dose inhaler while on the go
Why this device?
Proven to deliver medication better than your inhaler alone1 the new AEROCHAMBER2GO* Chamber helps deliver inhaler medication where it is needed to work in your lungs.
Designed and developed with the help of inhaler users, the 2-in-1 chamber also acts as a protective storage case for your inhaler. Ideal for adolescents and adults, the AEROCHAMBER2GO* Chamber fits most designs of inhalers.
The AEROCHAMBER2GO* Chamber is not designed for use with round mouthpiece inhalers such as Airomir†, Qvar† or Alvesco†. You may also want to consider using an AEROCHAMBER PLUS* FLOW-VU* chamber at home along with your controller medications. Check with your pharmacist to see which is best for you.

Product Overview
Why is an inhaler always together with an AEROCHAMBER* spacer?
Use of a spacer is a simple and effective way to help improve the use of your inhaler. Spacers help to ensure that your medicine reaches your lungs where it’s needed and limits the amount that ends up in the back of the throat.2
People who use a valved-holding chamber (VHC) with their inhaler have better control of their respiratory symptoms.3
To improve drug delivery, respiratory guidelines recommend the use of chambers when using metered dose inhalers or puffers in people of all ages.4,5

FAQs
The chamber can be used with many of the commonly prescribed metered dose inhalers. It does not fit the round style of inhalers such as Airomir, Alvesco or Qvar.
We recommend cleaning on a weekly basis.
The chamber can be used directly out of the package and should be cleaned weekly.
- Lift the cap and open the chamber to remove the inhaler.
- Wash the chamber in warm, clean water with liquid dish detergent, agitating gently. Rinse in clean water.
OR
- Place on top rack of dishwasher. Run the dishwasher on a normal or light cycle. Do not heat dry.
- Shake out excess water and allow to air dry. If you require the chamber immediately, dry gently with a clean dish towel.
- Shake inhaler immediately before use (remove inhaler cap, if attached).
- Insert inhaler into back of the chamber. Press inhaler as you start to breathe in slowly and deeply.
The AEROCHAMBER2GO* chamber should be replaced after 12 months of use.
The majority of adults do not use their inhalers properly. In fact, a large study showed that 9 out of 10 adults don’t use their inhaler properly.
Chambers help by making it easier to inhale your medication and helping to ensure the puffer medication is delivered to your lungs, where it is needed.
The chamber was designed for use by adolescents and adults. It is important that you are comfortable with opening and closing the chamber before storing your inhaler inside of it.
We have received confirmation of coverage in Quebec via both provincial and private insurance plans.
Anticipate private payer coverage will be available in August for plans outside Quebec (which already has coverage). Medical plan coverage is dependent on what level of plan the employer has in place for the employee. Devices are often covered on extended health benefits via a manual submissions process. This means that you have to pay up front at the pharmacy and submit the prescription receipt to your insurance carrier.
