How to Use AeroChamber2Go* Spacer
  1. Remove inhaler from AEROCHAMBER2GO* Spacer + inhaler case
  2. Shake the inhaler immediately before use (remove cap)
  3. Insert the inhaler into back of chamber
  4. Press the inhaler as you start to breath in slowly and deeply

Use of a spacer is a simple and effective way to help improve the use of your inhaler. Spacers help to ensure that your medicine reaches your lungs where it’s needed and limits the amount that ends up in the back of the throat1.

People who use a valved holding chamber (VHC) such as an AeroChamber2go* spacer, with their inhaler have better control of their respiratory symptoms.2

To improve drug delivery, respiratory guidelines recommend the use of chambers when using metered dose inhalers in people of all ages.3,4

WHAT INHALERS CAN BE USED THE AEROCHAMBER2GO* SPACER?

The chamber can be used with many of the commonly prescribed metered dose inhalers.

HOW DO I USE THE AEROCHAMBER2GO* SPACER?

  1. Shake inhaler immediately before use (remove inhaler cap, if attached).
  2. Insert inhaler into back of the chamber.
  3. Press inhaler as you start to breathe in slowly and deeply.

HOW DO I CLEAN THE AEROCHAMBER2GO* SPACER?

The chamber can be used directly out of the package and should be cleaned weekly.

  1. Lift the cap and open the chamber to remove the inhaler.
  2. Wash the chamber in warm, clean water with liquid dish detergent, agitating gently. Rinse in clean water.

OR

  1. Place on top rack of dishwasher. Run the dishwasher on a normal or light cycle. Do not heat dry.
  2. Shake out excess water and allow to air dry. If you require the chamber immediately, dry gently with a clean dish towel.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I REPLACE MY DEVICE?

As with any chamber, it is recommended that the AEROCHAMBER2GO* spacer should be replaced after 12 months of use.

WHY DO I NEED A DEVICE FOR USE ON-THE-GO?

According to a recent study, it was determined that roughly 31% of asthma attacks occur outside the home5. It is important to have your medication and spacer available wherever you go!
